Have you come across a Reiki grid and wandered what it is and how it works? I have a Reiki grid in my healing room and my clients always ask me about it. So I’m sharing with you some information about this little healing tool and the practice of using the grid for sending distant healing.
Firstly, I’ll explain briefly what Reiki is.
It is an energy healing modality for stress reduction, relaxation and healing. It comes from the technique discovered in 1922 by Mikao Usui, a Japanese Buddhist. The Japanese word ‘Reiki’ means Universal Life Energy. Reiki consists of two syllables: “Rei” which describes the cosmic, universal aspect of the energy and “Ki” which describes the fundamental life force energy flowing and pulsating in all living things. Reiki heals on all levels: mental, physical, emotional and spiritual by removing energy blockages within the body’s energy system. This allows the body to heal, deal naturally with stress and built-up toxins and cope with everyday events.
Secondly, I’ll explain what a crystal grid is so you can understand better what a Reiki grid is.
In essence a crystal grid is a special arrangement of crystals used with intention to manifest a desired outcome.
Reiki Crystal Grid is a spiritual ‘tool’ used to increase the distant healing energy. The grid is very powerful when using Crystals and Reiki together.
I learnt about Reiki Crystal Grid from one of my Reiki teachers, William Lee Rand, the founder and president of The International Centre for Reiki Training (ICRT) and The Centre for Reiki Research.
Around 2000, William placed World Peace Crystal Grids at the North and South Pole and also in Jerusalem. His aim was to bring more peace into the world. He started a program where Reiki people from all over the world join together each month in sending Reiki to the peace grids to promote world peace using World Peace Grid cards downloaded from William’s website.
The grid I use has marked on it all 12 main religions, as William wanted to create unity and no separation between them.
I placed 12 pointed quartz crystals on the grid and I also have one main crystal which I’m using to charge the grid.
I charge the crystals with Reiki energy every day so they will continuously send Reiki to myself and others on the grid.
I am connecting all crystals with the main crystal and use a mantra to keep the grid active for 24 hours. I have a folder under the grid where I place names or pictures of people that require healing and review monthly.
I am using the Reiki distance symbol when I charge the grid and send healing. The Japanese name of the distant symbol means, “The origin of all is pure consciousness,” and this can be interpreted that there is no time or space.
This technique is really effective when I choose to send Reiki to many people and situations at the same time.
I can send Reiki to myself, family members, pets, friends, events, difficult relationships, or situations such surgeries or medical conditions for my clients. I also send to the World Peace Crystal Grids, the Earth, to bring more peace and harmony on Earth.
If you are wondering about the permission to send Reiki, I’d should mention that Reiki energy comes from the highest source and will never go against anyone’s free will. So, if there is someone on my grid that does not wish to receive Reiki, they will not.
In one of the Reiki classes, we asked William Lee Rand a question about permission and he said, “You don’t have to have someone’s permission to pray for them, so Reiki is a lot like that….and Reiki won’t go to someone who does not want it”
It is a blessing to be able to send distance healing to someone that needs it. Our intention to send healing is spiritually supported. We are all interconnected and guided by the same life force that controls everything in the Universe.
